This project is about my childhood (using warm tone as positive & cool tone as negative feelings ) to now, some visual elements made from paper then taken picture one by one when edited on aftereffects with sequence it turns to stop-motion. The black box represents my repressed body.

The first video is the base display for the hologram and the second one is on display with clear film making a hologram.

Reflection

This piece was hard to think of, my plan wasn't to make a hologram at first but a picture book. But I wanted it to display it in own space because it is so personal to me. Just a small idea to give its own space turned into a hologram with visual storytelling. I spent a lot of time thinking about what I should do since we were only allowed to use the phone camera as the raw material. I was running out of time. To get inspiration I looked through my old school works. I found a leaflet about hologram and that's how I decided to make a DIY hologram and I was a 2D animation student so I used some old materials to execute the story. Then I started to plan immediately, where , how and what I will do.

This work has become the most precious piece I have done in years, it made me think how far I have some just from a person who watched cartoons to be able to speak up about myself through my work.
